Pilates training: the art of movement
Pilates is a method of mindful movement that improves mobility, stability and strength throughout the entire body by teaching core-centered, whole-body integrated movements with proper alignment. It is a practice that integrates body and mind, which, in turn, transforms the spirit. Pilates teaches functional fitness and efficient movement patterns on special equipment (the reformer, trapeze table, chair, barrel and much more) designed to strengthen and lengthen your entire body.
Each session strategically utilizes Pilates strength and flexibility exercises to meet your fitness, mechanical, and postural needs and goals. I specialize in delivering effective, challenging, and fun workouts to produce balanced fitness results.

I have over 10 years of experience in the health and wellness industry operating as a Pilates Trainer, Personal Trainer, Director of Health and Wellness, Life Coach, Health Coach, team leader, and program developer. I hold a Master's Degree in Public Health Epidemiology, minor in Exercise and Sports Studies, and certifications as a Balanced Body Pilates Instructor, National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer & Weight Loss Specialist, International Coach Federation Associate Coach, and Newfield Coach.
Pilates transformed the way I move and helped me to heal chronic back pain in my early twenties through increasing mobility in my spine, strengthening my abdominals, training a neutral pelvis posture, balancing mobility and stability, and accessing my inner unit.
As a fitness professional, I have taught and experienced a wide gamut of fitness formats, but no other movement system teaches the comprehensive and detail-oriented form-focussed training that Pilates offers. Finding Pilates was like unlocking the secret to functional movement training and I have never looked back.
